Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe AG
With the narrow gauge Zillertalbahn Railway (760 mm) and the many bus lines and other bus services, Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe AG (ZVB AG) is the most frequently used public transport provider throughout the Zillertal Valley.
The Company, which was founded in 1899 as a rail company only, has also been active in public bus transport since 1935. ZVB AG, with its headquarters in Jenbach, currently has 163 employees. The majority stockholders and thus the majority owners are the communities of the Zillertal Valley and the marketing community Jenbach.
2019 - ca. 2.9 million passengers are transported on public trains, and approximately 43,000 passengers on the steam train. The proportion of schoolchildren and students on the railways and buses is approximately 50% of the total, making it an important form of transport for the Zillertal Valley.
Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe AG has been a partner in the Tirol transport association since 1995.
